  • The Pentland Hills have been designated as a Regional Park. There are several car parks and information points providing access to walks of varying degrees of difficulty. The best access from Springfield Farm is via Flotterstone Information Centre, a few miles from here.
  • Shorter walks are also on our doorstep at Leadburn Community Woodland, Penicuik Estate and Deepsyke Forrest. We also have a bridlepath round the farm fields which you can explore safely.
